Holding On While Letting Go
This is a project I made in my Intermediate Photoshop Class. This project was focused around an alternative reality. I decided to focus on how fast time seems to pass, and how while we sometimes want to hold on to a particular moment, life is constantly pulling us the other direction. I find this to be especially true in my role as a mother. I often find myself wanting to keep my son young forever, while at the same time enjoying the new and exciting things that come with him growing older. This piece works to represent that, and seems to create a feeling of being pulling in two different directions.
Isaac Painting
This is a project I did on my own, I used the mixer brush in photoshop to create a painting effect to this picture I had taken of my son, Isaac. I enjoy the way that it turned out.
Emotional Pieces
This project was created in photoshop for my intermediate photoshop class. I enjoy this piece because I think that it captures the frailty of emotions and how quickly you can shift from one emotion to the next. My goal for this project was to portray our emotions as a puzzle of sorts.
